Tearing down my HP Compaq F730US (Pictures)

My poor F730US suffered a slow painful death, first the wifi card blew up and then it turned into a total piece of crap the original hdd died and then it died.

I shot everything hand held with my dSLR using a ceiling bounce to flash the shots and that is why the exposures tend to be inconsistent. Edited everything minimally. Shots are in reverse order because of the way photobucket generates links.

MOST PARTS ARE AVAILABLE INCLUDING THE BATTERY AND CHARGER IF YOU WANT EM LET ME KNOW

Also took my ASUS all the way down thats here - Tear down of my G50VT-X5 (Photos)

Excellent work with the pics and breakdown. What made you get a Compaq in the first place? If only I told you about my story first....

It failed just as hard as the HP with the same motherboard. Note the solder points for the GPU and vRam btw. Not sure what other models it was used in but the HP I wanted had exactly the same specs minus a card reader and i think one other thing.

It was cheap lol.
