I've read all the archived threads on how to replace the 194 bulbs on my kids 2000 Corolla (to which I am greatful) Great threads by the way. Anyway, can someone tell me if they've preplaced the original with LED lights on their instument cluster? If I go to superbrightled.com, I'm really unsure what type to get ( in terms of light coverage). Thanks

Unless things have changed, the problems with LEDs is that they don't dim. So you either get off or full brightness on your cluster.

I bought some blue led's form ebay and they dim, and work great. I will try to find the seller. Coverage wise, they really illuminate the whole cluster

tuukka87, that would be great if you could find the seller on ebay. I would want the lights to dim and not be on 100% full bright all the time. (BTW, blue is the color we're after)

superbrightleds..id avoid. i dont know if you saw my old thread, but i bought quite a few LEDs from them, almost all of which are now dead or flickering. I did the hvac, i think they were 70's, and those were the first to die.
I dont know if thats an issue with high power LEDs, but i wouldve hoped theyd last a little longer than a few months. and its not like im in crazy climate.
